During my recent family vacation at Am See, I was delighted by its strategic location-a mere ten-minute walk from the S-Bahn station and close to charming local restaurants. The rooms, recently remodeled, offered ample space for my family and our dog, with comfy beds ensuring peaceful nights. Exploring the nearby town of Tützing was a joy, allowing us to enjoy some leisurely cycling and hiking. It was refreshing to see how welcoming the hotel was for families; our young ones under seven had plenty to engage in, from cycling adventures to relaxed strolls by the lake. While I had read mixed reviews about the breakfast, I found it satisfactory. A typical morning included ham, cheese, a variety of bread, and sometimes pancakes or scrambled eggs. I recommend arriving at 8:30 AM for the best experience, as earlier visits seemed to yield better quality. Having friendly staff only enhanced our stay. Am See provided a serene atmosphere perfect for family fun, combined with the convenience of local amenities. A modest yet delightful escape worth considering for family vacations.
